Working with Sukia: answers for travel agents

Short, practical answers on how we work with agencies, so you can quote your clients fast.

How do I get your net rates?

Message us on WhatsApp (+506 6314-1481) or email info@sukiatravel.com with your agency name. Our sales team sends the 2026–27 net rate sheet directly, plus lodging tiers (Basic, Standard, Premium) for multi-day packages.

How does booking work for an agency?

Send us dates, number of travelers, ages and what your client wants to experience. We check real availability for Corcovado permits, boats, guides and lodging and reply within 24 hours. The deposit is only requested after availability is confirmed.

Do you handle Corcovado permits and logistics?

Yes. Park tickets, licensed guides, boats and captains, station lodging and arrivals via Sierpe or Drake Bay airport are all coordinated by us. Corcovado now caps entry at 120 visitors per day, so send requests early for high season.

Which tour should I recommend to which client?

Families and first-timers: 4-Day Wildlife Tour. Photographers and birders: 5-Day Wildlife & Photography. Short stays: Corcovado Full Day or Sirena Overnight. Active couples: 4- or 6-Day Jungle Adventure. Fit travelers wanting the full immersion: 7-Day Expedition. Not sure? Ask us and we'll match honestly.

When should my clients travel?

We operate year-round except October, when Sirena Station closes. December–April is dry season; green season is lusher and quieter with a few hours of afternoon rain. July–August and December–April book out first.

What should I tell my clients before they arrive?

No road reaches Drake Bay: they arrive by boat from Sierpe or by small plane from San José. Nights inside Corcovado are shared bunks at ranger stations. Pack hiking shoes, water shoes, rain jacket and a reusable bottle. There are no ATMs in Drake Bay.
